{ABOUT US}

The Richmond Alumnae Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta was founded in 1931 in order to support the Alpha Chi chapter at the College of William and Mary. Since then, four additional chapters have been chartered in Virginia, including our largest yet colonization at Virginia Tech in 2011.

There are more than 350 Gamma Phi Beta alumnae in the Richmond area, representing over 80 different collegiate chapters. We are a diverse group of women varying in age, background and stages in life. Our chapter provides a great opportunity to network with other fabulous women, catch up with old friends from college and get involved in the community.

We work with multiple charitable organizations including Girls on the Run, Relay for Life, Campfire USA, and Run for the Dream; as well as reach out to deployed military personnel. With Virginia Commonwealth University located in the heart of Richmond, we have been working with their Fraternity and Sorority Council to colonize Gamma Phi Beta at VCU in the near future.
